Note: The New Jersey State Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy is requiring NJ Licensed Massage Therapists to take 1 Law CEU as part of their 2022 Licensure Renewal. The AMTA NJ Chapter is offering this NJ Laws CEU free of charge in service to all members and non-members in need of fulfilling this 2022 Licensure Renewal requirement.

The AMTA NJ Chapter will be hosting a 2nd LIVE Fall Education Convention on Sunday, November 20th at the American Institute for Alternative Medicine for AMTA NJ Chapter members and non-members.
The AMTA NJ Chapter Board has worked diligently to secure Mark Carangelo, LMT and Cherie Garrison as CE Providers for this Fall Educational Convention.
You will be able to register for:
Renewal Bundle which includes CPR, Ethics and NJ Law
OR
A single Ethics and NJ Law class
Mark Carangelo will be presenting:
- 2 hour Ethics – This course is designed to identify the roles, responsibilities and rights expected and accepted for a Massage Therapy professional. It includes understanding important concepts such as: transference/counter-transference, boundaries, dual relationships, and consent.
- 1 hour NJ Law – This course will review massage therapy laws and provide valuable information for the legality of massage in New Jersey.
Cherie Garrison will be presenting:
- CPR/First Aid/AED – This course is provided under the guidelines of the American Heart Association
